Jessica Anderson's Professional Journey

Jessica Rae Anderson is a fashion designer, product development expert, and manufacturing consultant with over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry. She is the founder of Design To Produce, a fashion consulting firm that helps entrepreneurs and brands transform ideas into market-ready products. Through Design To Produce, Jessica provides end-to-end services including fashion design, technical design, patternmaking, prototype development, sourcing, manufacturing, quality control, and production management.

Jessica specializes in developing women's, men's, and children's apparel, as well as accessories including handbags, belts, jewelry, and pet products. By leveraging a global network of trusted manufacturers and suppliers, she helps fashion startups and established brands successfully launch and scale their collections with confidence.

In addition to her consulting work, Jessica is the Co-Founder and Creative & Production Director of AV Laretti, a quiet luxury menswear brand born from a successful client partnership. After working closely with the founder to develop his collection through Design To Produce, her strategic vision and product expertise led to an invitation to become a co-founder. Today, she leads the brand's creative direction, product development, sourcing, fit, and manufacturing strategy, giving her firsthand experience building and scaling a modern fashion brand from concept to market.

Since founding Design To Produce in 2011, Jessica has helped launch hundreds of fashion brands and has partnered with entrepreneurs, established apparel companies, private label brands, suppliers, and government uniform programs. She currently oversees production in both the United States and China.

Known for bridging the gap between creativity and manufacturing, Jessica helps clients avoid costly mistakes, streamline development, and bring high-quality products to market efficiently. Her expertise spans nearly every apparel category, including swimwear, activewear, streetwear, womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, baby apparel, uniforms, and intimate apparel. As a skilled technical designer, she creates detailed specifications that ensure exceptional fit, quality, and consistency throughout production.

Jessica earned her degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) before beginning her career in New York, where she designed for industry leaders including Liz Claiborne, Victoria's Secret, Jones Apparel Group, and ABS by Allen Schwartz.

Her work has been featured in WWD, InStyle, People, Lucky, and Accessories Magazine, and she has appeared on NBC and QVC presenting fashion collections.

Jessica is also the founder of JessicaRaeAnderson.com, where she provides creative direction, styling, and production for editorial campaigns, commercials, music videos, and luxury brand photo shoots. Known as The Fashion Muse, she also shares her expertise through YouTube and is currently developing an online academy to educate aspiring designers on fashion design, product development, manufacturing, and entrepreneurship.
